PoD 28

So, I kinda sorta broke a promise to you....

Remember about halfway through the PoD when I mentioned that all the blocks from here on out would be three wands or less in difficulty? Well...they were. Then I realized there was something really important that I wanted to include in the PoD that had not been in the original design.

So, this weekend, I redrafted and re-pieced this week's design and am now much happier with the final layout. Unfortunately, that means asking you to bear with me through one more 4-wander. Do you think you can do it if I pinkie swear this is the very last one? It's not hard, I promise, especially when you take it one piece at a time. I'd even go so far as to call this a 3 1/2, especially after all the practice you've had with the first 27 PoD blocks.

Reminder: If you DO NOT want to see the block before you make the pattern in order to keep it a mystery, please do not click on the cut! If you leave a comment, you will be taken behind the cut and will see the block...just FYI!

I just couldn't go all the way through The Project of Doom without Trevor! If you need some extra books, feel free to raise the level of his stack by a book or two. He's exactly 5" wide, so you can even substitute another block in his place if having a toad isn't for you. However, I hope you, like Neville, will see that having a toad is not about being fashionable, it's about liking what you and being who you are.

Block 28
Jen, I was just about to put a frog on one of our other blocks. Glad to see you decided to do this one. Cute block!
I also hope that one of the new ones will have the goblet of fire included. Thanks again for the adventure.

Re: Block 28
It's been hard to keep my mouth closed when I see blocks pop up that have items already in the final design, but I've managed so far! I'm glad you decided to wait and can have Trevor in your quilt. :)

It wouldn't be right with Trevor, of course.

Hi Jen! I just mailed four more pin cushions to you for HP prizes. If there are any left that you don't need please keep them for yourself or give them away in other prize packages :o)

Awww. He is adorable. I think when I make this block I'll add a few books or something. :)

I made a block with a HUGE Trevor last month.

You're not the first one to do something like that. It just means you'll need to substitute in this block.

For the record, it has been super hard for me not to say anything when PoD-ers have used designs that were already planned. Trevor was a late addition, so at least you have that on your side!
