December, The Last Prize
The December prize was donated byhp5freak (fat quarter), cosmictwirling (fat quarter), mkissa (2 fat quarters), ladyoflosttimes (snitch pendant), hpfan_poa (tile pendant), lunaneela (pin cushion) and Sewhooked (PoD button).
Birthday Blocks
Our very ownhardhatcat will be hosting birthday_blocks with aphoenixrain for 2012. Birthday Blocks is a year-long quilt block swap where each participant receives blocks of their chosen pattern in the month of their birthday and makes blocks for the other participants during their birthday months. You can see blocks from previous years in the Birthday Blocks Flickr group. The Year-Long swap is open to quilters of all levels. If you are interested in participating the go here for the rules and sign up information.
STITCHED
I am one of 20 instructors participating in STITCHED, a fantastic new online workshop series taking place in 2012. There are 20 unique workshops, freebies, and six months' access to each instructor as you make your way through the workshops. It's a great opportunity to learn lots of new fantastic skills and techniques at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home. Registration is open!
This is my last regular post here onhp_paperpiecing. I have loved sharing with you all over the years and cannot tell you enough how much your participation and feedback have meant to me. You will still find me on Sewhooked and Fandom In Stitches and I will post here from time to time if anything awesome comes up!

I really REALLY wanted to have my block be a certain Highly-Copyrighted block that a certain someone shared with me. ;) But, I checked the publisher's website and boy, are they strict with redistribution. I found a free one online that is very close, though. I can't wait. :)
